All sixteen teams for the next CS:GO major at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca are now set in stone as Team Liquid advance over Renegades and Vexed Gaming defeat HellRaisers.
The final two consolidation matches at DreamHack Open Stockholm 2015, which is the official qualifier for the next major taking place next month at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca, featured the four remaining teams from Group C and Group B.
The first match-up was a showdown between Eric "adreN" Hoag's Team Liquid and Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill's Australian Renegades with the two teams having faced off twice before: with the Aussies defeating Liquid at Gfinity Spring Masters II (albeit without Spencer "Hiko" Martin) and then two days ago with Team Liquid enacting revenge in the teams' group C opening match.
EliGE came into his own against Renegades
The first half on de_cache was perhaps the most vigorously contested of the series, with multiple rounds featuring only narrow advantages; one round included Hiko winning a crucial one-versus-three clutch.
However, on the second half, Team Liquid entered the drivers' seat and with the unsung hero of the American team Jacob "FugLy" Medina anchoring sites with style as he is known to do, Renegades were left with no answer and Liquid took the map 16-7.
The second map saw youngster Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski unleash his inner potential and power Team Liquid forward to an easily won de_cbble with a score of 16-4.
This series marked Team Liquid's first successful qualification bid for a major in CS:GO history, with two previously failed attempts at the qualifiers for ESL One Katowice and ESL One Cologne.

The final match at DreamHack Open Stockholm pitted the Ukrainian-Kazakh mixture of HellRaisers against Vexed Gaming, who were previously known as eBettle. The teams only have histories of matching-up at major qualifiers so far, with Vexed winning a close best-of-one at the Cologne qualifier and with HellRaisers also enacting revenge yesterday for that loss, winning a series 2-0 over Vexed.
On de_cbble, HellRaisers got off to a roaring start with Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow leading his men to a 10-5 Terrorist half, however the team became bogged down on their defensive side, with superstar player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev nowhere to be seen. With Karol "rallen" Rodowicz and Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski firing on all cylinders, Vexed Gaming took the first map 16-11.
de_dust2 was Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev's court with the Kazakh player at one point holding a 18-1 scoreline on HellRaisers' CT side before slightly cooling down. The cooldown came about when HR had gone up to 9-1, and then Vexed began to slow down their play and claw back, bringing the score to 9-4.
Things became increasingly s1mple on de_dust2
On that round however, s1mple picked up four kills and Emil "kUcheR" Akhundov then won an unlikely one-versus-one with the bomb planted for long pit, giving HellRaisers the foothold the team needed to re-enter the game.
s1mple continued to perform on de_dust2, and his efforts played a big part in helping the Ukrainian-Kazakh team seal the map, 16-7.
On de_overpass, it was s1mple who continued to perform, getting three kills with Dual Elites on the team's CT pistol as well as an AK-47 ace on the fifth round. The team kept up the pressure on Vexed, and won important rounds even when on an eco, with ANGE1 putting the CZ-75 to good use to end the half 11-4 for HellRaisers.
The second half saw Vexed win the pistol round and start grinding out rounds, with GruBy picking up kill-after-kill to keep the Polish team in the game. HellRaisers force-bought with the score at 11-10 and won, but then Vexed defended a chaotic A-take and reset HellRaisers' economy, making the score 12-11 for the latter team.
Vexed continued to pull-off close rounds, and punched in the final amount necessary to take de_overpass 16-13, and to qualify for the next major.
