Flash defeated ViCi in the grand final of the Chinese Minor qualifier with a 2-1 scoreline (16-8 Cobblestone, 13-16 Cache, 16-7 Overpass).

The final qualifier for the Asia Minor has come to it's last stage today, with the two favorite teams ViCi and Flash getting to the grand final of the Chinese qualifier.

WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong's ViCi had a stroll through their half of the bracket, defeating the likes of UYA and LGD with one-sided scorelines. Through the five maps they played up to the grand final, they only dropped 24 rounds and also recorded a 16-0 victory on Nuke—starting from the Terrorist side.

A few months after the squad assembled, the "Asian Superteam" Flash was finally seen in competition this weekend in the Chinese Minor Qualifier. YuLun "⁠Summer⁠" Cai's new team wasn't as dominant as ViCi as they did drop one map, but they still weren't in danger of going out to any of the teams they faced.

ViCi picked Cobblestone to start the grand finel, but their Terrorist side was stopped by a solid defensive display from Flash, who picked up 10 CT rounds. After losing the first map 16-8, zhokiNg put up a massive performance on Cache to help his side equalize the map score at 1-1.

It all came down to Overpass, the final map. Flash once again had a great start on the CT side, using the various offensive posibilites the map offers. ViCi clawed back to a five round deficit before the end of the first half, but some good clutches from Flash allowed them to close out the map with a comfortable 16-7 scoreline.
